Alex is a senior majoring in Earth Systems in the Sustainable Food and Agriculture track and minoring in Spanish. She is interested in how communication and education can help build stronger, more inclusive food systems. She recently studied abroad in Santiago, Chile and spent last summer working in the urban agriculture sector of the Environmental Protection Agency of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Around campus, Alex has researched social dynamics in immersive environmental education through the GSE and cooked elaborate multi-course dinners with a student-run pop-up restaurant on campus. In her free time, she is an officer in Delta Delta Delta sorority, loves rock-climbing and using her friends as taste-testers in new cooking adventures.
