Postdoc Position: Distributed Processing for Rapid Earthquake Detection
    The Department of Geophysics at Stanford University invites applications for a postdoctoral position in distributed processing with applications to rapid earthquake detection and response. Priority will be given to those with experience in distributed computing, particularly with Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing (BOINC!) or equivalent. Additional beneficial skills include database management, numerical analysis, parallel programming, and theoretical seismology.
