Kimi is actively involved in the Stanford Law community where she is the Managing Editor of the Environmental Law Journal, Co-President of the Stanford Public Interest Law Foundations, and former Co-President of the Environmental Law Society.
Kimi did her undergraduate work at Stanford University, and earned her B.A.H. in 2007 in Anthropological Science, minors in Biological Science and Political Science. She conducted Honors Thesis fieldwork in Hana, Maui – “Common Property, Common Threat: Combating Invasive Miconia in Hâna, Maui”. Kimi also studied abroad in Australia, Oxford, and Kyoto. Her hometown is Tarzana, CA.

To be an effective advocate, environmental lawyers need to understand the science behind current laws and prospective legislation. The E-IPER program will provide me with this understanding.
