Sadie Cwikiel (B.S. '19 M.S. '20)

As an undergraduate honors student and current coterm, Sadie has devoted herself and her education to empowering local communities to be effective stewards of their environments. Within the Stanford Earth Systems program, she has also served her peers as a student advisor and TA. During her years on campus she has also been an active member of Fossil Free Stanford and Students for Sustainable Stanford. In her summers, she has interned with indigenous communities in Peru and Palau to combine her academic interests with her passion for promoting sustainability and local conservation efforts.
