Elena Press (B.S. '20)

Elena is a powerful leader and role model not only within the Stanford sphere but also far beyond. On campus she has been a key member of Students for Sustainable Stanford through her leadership of the zero-waste group. But her impact does not stop there.  

Elena’s can-do mentality and infectious enthusiasm for environmental justice have touched the lives of so many people in Malawi (where she worked on food security), Israel (where she assessed the impacts of oil spills on Arthropod diversity), and even at Sephora (where she worked on product sustainability).
