Clare LeDuff (BS '16, MS '16)

Earth Systems Program
June 15, 2016
Clare Public Service

Clare is passionate about environmental education, eager to use her knowledge and skills to promote environmental learning and justice throughout the Stanford community and beyond. As an undergrad, Clare was a member of the Public Service Honors Society based on her volunteer activities with organizations like Science in Service. She continued to serve others during her gap year by taking a job as a program manager for the California Native Garden Foundation, a nonprofit organization that promotes environmental science by installing educational gardens in schools. There, among many other things, she coordinated and ran weekly community events and sustainability workshops. Currently, Clare advocates environmental education to the wider Stanford community as the Community Engaged Learning Coordinate for Nicole Ardoin’s Environmental Education course and as the course administrator for Earth Systems 10.
