The FEED Collaborative is an academic program in sustainable food system education and innovation within Stanford’s School of Earth, Energy, and Environmental Sciences.

Originally launched from the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design, we teach and apply human-centered design as a tool for solving systemic problems in the food system.

Our mission is to equip, inspire, and connect the next generation of leaders to meaningful opportunities across the food system, to accelerate the impact of thought-leading organizations working on important problems, and to develop innovative curriculum that meets the demands of an evolving world.

We do this by working collaboratively with leaders, entrepreneurs, students, and other faculty on ambitious projects, and by developing creative confidence among those with whom we work.
