Inessa is a first year PhD student in the Basin and Petroleum System Modeling Group. She received her B.S. in Geology from Moscow State University and M.S. in Geoscience from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Her academic background lies in petroleum geology and geochemistry. Inessa is interested in detailed research in the geohistories of sedimentary basins and petroleum systems. For her current thesis project she is working in Alaska, North Slope.
