Research

My research interests focus on how biophysical factors regulate carbon and water dynamics in terrestrial ecosystems. I study soil-plant-atmosphere interactions to understand the response of terrestrial ecosystems to management, extreme events (e.g. hurricanes), and climate change. My research spans from ecology of mycorrhizal fungi to micrometeorological measurements of water and carbon fluxes at multiple spatio-temporal scales and vegetation types.
