In order to contact someone, by email or traditional means, you need his address. Online directories of various types try to fulfill that need.
At Stanford, the campus-wide faculty/staff/student directory is fully on-line and searchable. The School of Earth Sciences also has its own on-line personnel directory. People in the School should check their entries to make sure they are correct.
