The Case Study of Sustainable Utilization of Geothermal Resources in Tianjin

Strengthening reinjection and improving energy efficiency are the necessary means for the sustainable development of geothermal energy in tianjin. The difficulty of reinjection is a common technical problem, especially in the Neogene reservoir. In order to explore the reinjection capacity, four geothermal wells in two reservoirs of Minghuazhen Formation and Guantao Formation in Dagang Oilfield were tested. The power generation scheme of geothermal water resources at 115℃ in Tianjin is optimized. The research result shows that the geothermal reinjection model of perforated well completion matching ground reinjection system has good effect in Dagang oilfield. The two-stage flash evaporation system has the best power generation and the shortest payback period. For geothermal resources at 115℃ in Tianjin, a geothermal power generation system of 500 kW scale can be built. The research results of reinjection technology and the optimization of geothermal power generation technology have important guiding significance for the sustainable development of geothermal energy in Tianjin.
