Abstract
The lithological-structural study of the Cerro Prieto geothermal field started with the correlation of well logs with the help of some of the available temperature logs.
Various electrical marker beds were chosen almost arbitrarily to serve as starting points for this correlation. Thus an initial sketch of the storage structure and its stratigraphic sequence was obtained.
El estudio litologico-estructural del Campo Geotermico de Cerro Prieto, se inicio con la correlacion de los registros electricos de los pozos perforados en el, auxiliandose con algunos de los registros de temperatura disponibles.
Se seleccionaron casi arbitrariamente algunas marcas electricas que sirvieran de punto de partida para la correlacion, obteniendose de esta manera un bosquejo inicial de la estructura alma cenante y su secuencia estratigrafica.
