Chemical characterization of geothermal waters of Pannonian System from south region of Western Plain of Romania is presented in this paper. Both constituents like: Cl-, NO2-, NO3-, HCO3-, CO3-2, SO4-2, PO4-3, Ca+2, Mg+2, Na+, K+ and microelements were found in these waters by using various methods. Based on the chemical composition geothermal waters could be classified as chloride-bicarbonate-sodium waters and bicarbonate-chloride- sodium. This work is a comparative study with Oradea geothermal area.
