Abstract
EI area geotermica de Cerro Prieto se encuentra en la planicie
de inundacion del R fo Colorado formando parte de
la provincia fisiogrcifica de "Sierras de Baja California" y
uniendose a la provincia fisiogrcifica de la "Zona Desertica
de Sonora" por el Delta del Rfo Colorado. (Fig.1).
The Cerro Prieto geothermal area is located in the flood
plain of the Colorado River, part of the "Baja California
Mountain Ranges" physiographic province which joins
the "Sonora Desertic Zone" physiographic province at
the Colorado River Delta (Figure 1).
