Abstract
With an installed geothermal-electric capacity of 853 megawatts (MW), Mexico currently occupies the third worldwide place, behind the US and the Philippines. There are four geothermal fields under exploitation in the country: Cerro Prieto, Los Azufres, Los Humeros and Las Tres V
