Abstract
process for tlic separation of silica Amiata reinjection geothermal scaling causes serious problems in operation and maintenance of reinjection facilities, is reported, in which the phases of coagulation, and of silica are involved Brines discharged from three wells were studied, in order to investigate the influence of the brine composition on of tlie separation treatment. The addition of amounts of calcium chloride and sodium hydroxide at temperatures were investigated and the separating operations were determined.
