Abstract
The sixty years production history ofthe Larderello geothermal field is represented by over 14000 of chemical data. anlyses of fluid at the start of exploitation are included suitable data also on Ar and He content. Correlation based on ratios i = and taking into account all production area.;. .;how temporal or geographical The Larderello. Lago, Lagoni Rossi, Monterotondo. Serr no and arc characterized by "reference cores" which maintained almost costant ratios among gas components. These "cores" are generally located in the central part of each subarea. Mixing and boiling invoked to explain the occurred coinpositional variations.
