Abstract

We investigate application of 3 D Kirchhoff migration to analysis of vertical seismic profile (VSI.) data in the Colla 2 of the Larderello geothernial field .I.uscany region of Italy. The shallow geological of field, which have mapped using surface seismic. data. are strongly 3-D, leading to complicated seismic wave propagation and suggesting that the or methods may of applicability. nients show that even with the source distribution of the Colla 2 experiment, resolution of a point scatterer is theoretically possible.
