Abstract
Exploration and drilling activities carried out during the last ten years in the Miravalles geothermal field allowed extend the proven reservoir area to In 1994 the installation of the first in Costa Rica history was successfully completed, while another 55 MW unit is foreseen to start operation in 1997. Feasibility studies far units an N are in progress, and the instalation of unit is expected in 1998.
