Abstract
This study reassesses the temperature and pressure surveys conducted in the Kizildere field to provide better understanding of the geothermal reservoir.
The temperature surveys are used to identify the geothermal reservoir and cap rocks and their respective thicknesses. The temperature surveys are also utilized to detect and identify fractured zones in the open well intervals. Isotherms established at several depths and cross-sections are also employed to identify hot and cold water influxes into the reservoir.
The pressure surveys are used to determine pressure gradient of geothermal reservoir and vertical permeability of the field. Recharge rate of the field under exploitation is also determined. Moreover, two phase-formation in the reservoir is also observed.
