Abstract
The paper discusses how conflict resolution processes can achieve positive results wherein the opposition become a partner in development rather than just a party to a conflict which must be overcome. The case of the Apo Geothermal Project, which is considered as one of the most controversial development projects in the Philippines, is used to illustrate this relationship.
