Abstract
After more than a decade of commercial application of the calcite inhibition technology in geothemal this paper attempts to: 1) review the present state of chemical inhibitors, 2) compare inhibition eflciencies of various inhibitors, 3) present case histones of applications to show their uniqueness a d o r similarities, 4) discuss limitations or problems of the preserrt technology, 5) provide options for improvement or avenues for research.
