A new system based on the distribution network fault location of distribution automation system

Abstract

Fast accurate and reliable distribution network fault location to shorten blackout time, improve the quality of power supply of distribution network has very important significance.
In order to find a better fault location method, first of all, the advantages and disadvantages of all kinds of power fault location algorithm applied at present were analyzed, and then choose to integrate expert system and genetic algorithm, finally formed a complete set of distribution network fault location system. Through a numerical example shows the process of the proposed fault location system.
Results show that the system can not only ensure the effect of distribution network fault location, and can guarantee the veracity and reliability of fault location, has certain value for project promotion.
