Abstract
The gross resistivity structure of the thermal system beneath W t. Tongariro ha8 been outlined by and soundings. The system is characterised by two conductive acid condensate layer which characteristic of steam-dominated the deeper one has been tentatively identified as a hot brine layer rest in g on a highly resistant the lateral extent of the concealed layer It can be inferred that the Ketetahi and Red Crater Solfatara Fields are discharge features fed by the system, the Tongariro Thermal the upper one can be correlated with an
