The Goal of China's Geothermal Energy Industry in 2025

Abstract

This paper summarizes the development of Geothermal energy industry in China from 2016 to 2020, and analyzes the existing problems. Based on the systematic analysis of the development environment of geothermal energy industry, the paper puts forward the high quality development idea of 2021-2025 and the suggestion of the development target of predicting the annual growth rate of 7% ~ 10%. The development path and key points of geothermal energy industry in China are analyzed. Finally, the safeguard measures needed for the development of the industry are analyzed and discussed from the aspects of resources, technology, management mechanism, standard certification, Supervision, regulations and policies.
