The formulation and solution of the problem of calculating the value of heat flow on the base temperature observations in wells - the inverse problem of geothermics under sedimentation conditions are given. This problem reduces to a quadratic programming problem with linear constraints on the unknowns. The implementation of the algorithm for solving the inverse problem of geothermics under sedimentation conditions was carried out on the basis of the FEFLOW computer program. The application of the program is demonstrated using model examples and solving the problem of predicting water content of the Khoja Obi Garm hydro-geothermal system (Tajikistan).
