It has been argued that wells if high discharge enthalpy (two-phase wells) at Baca must be isolated from communication with an extensive liquid reservoir. It is shown that such communication has existed, and been maintained, during the history of Wairakei and Broadlands fields.
Interpretation of downhole measurements in two-phase fields, and the nature of the two-phase reservoir fluid, is also treated.
