Abstract

Patuha Geothermal Power Plant started commercial operation on September 22th 2014. Geo Dipa Energi (Persero) is company that operate this area include steam field and power plant operation activities. After five years operation, the Patuha GPP what has 59,88 MW install capacity, still operate in good condition, mainly for all Power Plant facilities. In the first year operation, Turbine Generator generate electricity power in 8760 hour operation period (1 year operation). Now after the first maintenance period, Turbine Generator Patuha Unit 1, has improve duration operation hour to more than 17500 hour (more than 2 years operation period). Some of operation problem is appear indeed during five years operation process. In steam field area, natural declining well flow are happen almost production well. From 8 production wells at the first time Patuha area operated, in 2017 GDE should added 2 production wells to generate 59,8 MW install capacity in best performance. Some of operation strategies have been improved in Power Plant, improve maintain cooling water in cooling tower to get the best quality of water and operate Gas Removal System only 60% if the gross generate of turbine less then 55 MW. Total electricity production since 2014-2018 are 2000 GWh.
