Abstract
The effect of changes on the rate of silica scaling has been studied at BR22 well. In a series of four long term experiments, it was found that the needed to be reduced to 5 at before scaling w a s reduced. As well, we found that the needed to be raised to = 9.0 before scaling was avoided, when w a s added. separated water reduced scaling and when the was lowered, very large amounts of arsenic and antimony sulphides were deposited.
