Abstract
Initial results obtained from the Rotorua monitoring program are presented. Geothermal pressures are responsive to barometric pressure, lake level and changes in withdrawal, as well as other effects. The geothermal aquifer shows high permeability and large storativity. Groundwater levels show variable response to rainfall.
