Abstract:

Starting from the basic laws of consemation that represent the thdynamic behaviour of a simplified ge0the.in-d reservoir are derived. Its aslication is limited to a reservoir of high w i l i t y as it usually occurs in the central zone of a geothermal field. practical mthcd to solve numrically the equations is presented, based on the direct use of the steam tables. The method, based in one gg neral equation, is extended and ilustrated with a numrical example to the case of segregated mss extraction, variable influx and heat srchange between rock and fluid. As it is explained, the methcd can be easily coupled to several influx models already developed SQrrrewhere else. The proposed model can became an important tool to solve practical prablms, where like in Los Azufres Mexico, the geotherml field can be divided in an inner part where flashinu occurs and an exterior field where of mass and energy, the differential ecpations A very stonqe ofter plays the min role.
