Abstract
Extensive geothermal exploration studies have been conducted in the Philippines over the past decade leading to the detailed surface investigation of sixteen prospects. Eleven of these have been drilled and four have been developed to a total of 894 The proceedurs used during these exploration studies are discussed, and the characteristics of a typical Philippine geothermal system are described.
