Abstract
A well bore simulator is described and used to establish the output characteristics of two shallow geothermal wells. The influence of a number of the geoemtric and fluid variables on the characteristic is illustrated. The need for a reliable and well proven model that can account for changes in thermodynamic properties of the geofluid due to gas and solids in solution as well as the use of such simulators for field management decision making are emphasised.
