Abstract:

This study presents a semianalytical solution 1983; of the integral form for continuous, finite Maloszewski step and spike-injection flow of a tracer Okandan, in naturalty fractured reservoirs. An impor- e tant advantage of t h i s solution i s that the numerical dispers4on reported by previous t investigators when using the Stehfest inverter i Laplace transform algorithm et The reservoir i s treated as being composed of two regions: a mobile region where diffusion and convection take place and a stagnant region where only diffusion and adsorption are allowed. This model can also be used o study the flow of radioactive tracers. input The solution of t h i s paper i s expressed reservoirs. in terms of two dimensionless parameters: the Peclet number f o r the fractures, P and a parameter a= (5 where &+DP(vbjl8 and Pez!s the Peclet %umber f o r the matrix. A sensitivity study was carried out with regard t o the above mentioned main parameters that enter into the continuous, finite step and spike-injection solutions.
