Abstract

We deployed 48 seismometers since October, 2012 until October 2013 around a geotheral field and southern part of Bandung basin region. We used seismotool to analysis, identify, classify and determine earthquake or micro-earthquake events in these region. We applied threshold time difference between S and P-wave arrival time of less than three sconds, otherwise we assummed as regional or teleseismic events. Then we picked P-and S-wave arrival times of events carefully visualy by eye and then to locate the events. So far, we have been determined 1,260 microearthquake events using non linear algorithm integrated in the seismotool. These events seem to concentrated around geothermal field. We determined 1-D seismic velocities model as input for 3-D seismic tomography inversion to invert for 3-D Vp, Vs, and Vp/Vs ratio subsurface structures around this geothermal field.
