Abstract
We present a background for wafer-rock interaction generally, and new data on the geothermal field. The oxygenisotope oftotalrock samples allow the deduction ofpast and total fluid throughput. Estimates of any input of true magmatic water am difficult as the lithospherecan act as effective isotopic screen.
