Abstract
It is an appropriate time to celebrate the success of sustainable geothermal operation and development progress in New Zealand. The geothermal industry in New Zealand is still in a healthy state and, despite a pause in current powerplant construction planning due to flat demand, the longterm future looks promising. This is thanks largely to the considerable effort, dedication and forwarding thinking of a large number of people.
