Abstract
In this paper we describe an existing model of the Kawerau geothermalfield and attempts to improvethis model using inversemodellingtechniques.A match of model results to natural statetemperaturesand pressures at threereferencedepths are presented. These are used to form and ëobjectivefunctioní to be minimised by inverse modelling.
