Abstract

In this paper the geothermal-gas heating plant in Pyrzyce (NW
Poland) has been presented as well as the results of its
operating. The building of installation had lasted since 1992
to 1997. The total cost of it was 60.6 mln z?. In the result of its
operation the pollution of the air in Pyrzyce has been
significantly reduced. The content of CO2, SO2, NO, CO and
ashes in the air decreased which resulted in increased the
healthy of inhabitants.
