Abstract
Equations governing the flow of geothermal fluids through the reservoir, up the wellbore and through the productionpipeline can be simplified.The assumptions are based on conditions commonly encountered in New Zealand geothermal fields. The characteristic pressure profile of fluids throughoutthe production system can be calculatedby the use of a spreadsheet.
