Abstract
Everything old is new again, and this paper summarizes that utilities are returning to their commitment to promote a proven energy efficient technology-geothermal heat pumps (GHPs). This paper summarizes the best practices from 12 utilities profiles as part of study funded by the Western Area Power Administration, the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, and the American Public Power Association.
