Abstract
Worldwide aquaculture production is expanding rapidly and the use of geothermal energy in aquaculture is becoming increasingly common. The cascaded use of geothermal water for greenhouse heating and downstream aquaculture production is discussed. Geothermal water is used for both heating energy supplies and culture eater. The results from the operation of an intensive, recirculating aquaculture system using geothermal disposal fluid form a greenhouse operation are presented. Significant aquaculture production and geothermal resource utilization can be realized.
