Abstract

Even though Yugoslavia has a 30 year tradition in geothermal energy utilization, the oil crisis provided impetus for assessment and exploration of potential systems in fractured and porous aquifers, and to develop applications of low enthalpy thermal water. These processes area described. It is expected that these efforts will continue with greater intensity thanks to the collected experiences.
