Abstract
Cooperative research on geothermal reservoir engineering was initiated in October 1980 between the Instituto de Investigaciones Electricas in Mexico and Stanford University, Department of Petroleum Engineering, in the United States of America. This research has continued over the past 4 years, and has produced many useful results in areas of tracer testing, well test analysis, reservoir simulation and petrophysical studies of reservoir rocks. The results of the projects undertaken to date are summarized in this paper, and a complete list of the publications arising from these studies is included.
