Abstract
The Cooperative Agreement between the Department of Energy, U.S.A. (DOE), formally the Energy Research and Development Administration (ERDA), and the Ente Nazionale per L'Energia Elettrica of Italy (ENEL) was signed in June 1975. The agreement originated from contacts made following the U.S.A. - Italy geothermal workshop that took place in Pisa autumn 1973.
