Abstract
A shut in test was performed on wells in Travale geothermal field after ten years of uninterrupted production to verify with direct measurements whether the possible influx of meteoric waters into the reservoir had altered the thermodynamic properties of the fluid. At the same time, exploitation criteria were reconsidered with the aim of limited the pressure decline in the reservoir. In this paper a description of the test is given and the result obtained are illustrated.
