Abstract
Geothermal development in Lake County, California is expanding close to resort communities near the forested and picturesque Cobb Mountain area. This paper examines pertinent environmental issues and land use regulations Furthermore, recommended revisions to improve local permit processing are offered along with a proposed strategy to obtain use permits in a sensitive environment.
