Abstract
Helium soil gas anomalies, combined with self potential, gravity and aeromagnetic survey results, suggest that geothermal energy resources may be present in the eastern Copper River Basin in Alaska. The two groups of mud volcanoes in this area do not themselves seem to be direct indications of geothermal resources.
