Abstract
Within the last few years, there ahs been a marked increase in interest in geothermal direct heat utilization. New economical applications have been discovered and development has expanded to industrial, agribusiness, commercial and residential sectors. Geothermal direct heat use at the end of 1985 could be six to twelve times that at the end of 1980.
