Abstract
Thermal fluids from boreholes in the Lushan area were found to be high in gas content. As the thermal fluid is produced form the boreholes, dissolve gas gradually releases form the liquid phase and steam slow rate is increased with the gas outflow from the the steam. the enthalpy of the thermal fluid as determined by steam and hot water flow rate and respective temperature is found to be much higher than that estimated from the maximum downhole temperature. It is thus known that the gas content in the steam can be used as an alternative method applicable to determine the enthalpy of thermal fluid.
